Short description
A combined knowledge base will be prepared that will form the basis for future risk, measures against, mapping and monitoring of foreign marine species. An overview must be given of significant import and dispersal routes that post the risk of introducing new foreign marine species. Proposals will be introduced to for targeted national monitoring of foreign marine species in Norway with regard to methodology, already established species, doorstep species and the possibility of uncovering new establishments, as well as how they have been introduced. Proposals for the monitoring program must contain cost forecasts for the different investigations and alternatives proposed. The main project is limited to NOK 1 000 000 in 2021. The option for 2022 is estimated to be NOK 800 000.
