Government subsidy has been sought for the development of a broadband network in Rogaland.
As government subsidies are only given for next generation broadband, only existing or planned networks that offer this are to be mapped. Parties that already have developed or have plans to develop such a broadband network in all or parts of the areas stated in the attached document, are therefore requested to notify us of this.
For parties who do not already have a network in the area but who plan to expand in the next three years, specific plans must be given.
Mapping the existing and planned broadband network development in Rogaland County in with a view to government subsidy for development. The notice will be published for minimum one month before Rogaland County sends an acceptance letter to the municipalities, and prepares final announcements of the broadband development projects.
Government subsidy is being considered for the development of the broadband network in Rogaland. Since government subsidy is only allocated to next generation broadband, (with a download speed of at least 30/5 Mbit/s), only current or planned networks with offers of such speed must be mapped.
