Short description
The Norwegian Public Roads Administration shall construct a new E18 (European road 18) between Lysaker and Ramstadsletta in Bærum municipality, Viken County. Moreover, a new local road system and route for a high-standard main cyclist road. Parts of the road system will be through a tunnel. The project commencement is November 2020 with planned completion in 2028.
The purpose of the assignment is to cover the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's need for vibration measurements of existing buildings and structures in the area.
Vibration measurements are necessary in order to oversee possible vibration damage on the existing buildings and structures after blasting, sheet piling and studding. The assignment is to measure the size of vibrations and document these. The measurements will also be used as documentation if any damaged occurs on the surrounding buildings and structures in connection with the construction works.
