Short description
Viken Fylkeskommune [Viken County] will build a new Austvoll bridge over Hallingdalselva [Hallingdals River] on County Road 2904. The bridge will be built on the same location as the current bridge. The old suspension bridge will be demolished before construction of the new bridge. The new bridge will be approx. 139 metres long and have an external width of approx. 8.5 metres. The bridge will have lighting and cable conduit pipes. The contract also includes construction of adjacent roads, north and south of the new bridge, in connection with existing National Road 7 and County Road 2904. Alteration of tele-cables and 10KV high-voltage lines for cable and local power supply belonging to Hallingdal Kraftnett AS.
