This prequalification is regarding passenger counting solution (APC) for all types of ve-hicles.
The APC will communicate to the Ruters backoffice solutions thru the on-board commu-nication gateway, and should deliver live data containing information about boarding and alighting passengers in the vehicle. APC should have an accuracy in the range of +/-5%.
Ruters ambitions is to retrofit APC in all vehicles that do not have APC installed today. Approximately 500 buses. In addition to this, all new buses will be fitted with the APC, approximately 100-200 buses per year.
