The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

EBRD loan in the amount of EUR 38,230,000 and co-financed by a Climate Change National Grant of EUR 10,000,000
2. Information on the Project
Project Description:
Vilniaus Viešasis Transportas (“VVT” or the “Company”) plans to renew part of its ageing fleet trolleybuses with battery / electricity-powered trolleybuses (the “Project”). By improving the quality and reliability of trolleybuses, the Project is expected to encourage modal shift towards low-emission, electric transport modes. The Project is expected as well to result in reduced emissions and enhanced energy efficiency
