The City of Copenhagen enters a framework agreement on the purchase of respectively primary and XL ambulances. There are two partial agreements. The framework agreement includes an initial order of 25 primary ambulances and 2 XL ambulances, meeting the requirements in DS/EN 1789. The framework agreement provides the possibility to buy additional ambulances and mechanic hours during the contract period. Therefore, any specification of the final contract value of both partial agreements is only an indication of the value of the initial order. It is a requirement that both primary and XL ambulances are delivered with automatic transmission. The ministry of Justice is currently preparing a regulation allowing ambulances with a specified weight to be registered as Tempo100. If this regulation is agreed, the ambulances within the certain weight must be registered as Tempo100. The supplier has to cooperate closely with the Contracting Authority on the final layout and structure of the ambulances to ensure that the ambulances are an efficient and optimal workplace for the ambulance service staff.
